Even large pillows still vary in size and shape. Your choice will depend on how you want to use your giant body pillow. Some of the popular shapes are a straight body pillow, C shaped pillows and U shaped. A straight shape will support one side of the body from head to the feet. The C-shape will be ideal for cuddling.

Some prefer to use long pillows between the knees and ankles. A long pillow will be able to do this and still have a part to rest the head on. The size will be a matter of personal preference. Analyze the best way you can benefit from a long pillow. Only then can you decide on the shape and size that you need.

Kinds of Pillow Stuffing

Making your own pillow is as easy as sewing pillow casing and stuffing it with filling. What is not so easy is choosing the kind of stuffing to use. When stuffing pillows, it is important to choose the pillow stuffing carefully. It makes the difference between a soft, comfy and cuddly pillow and a lumpy one. Choose your stuffing appropriately and enjoy a comfortable pillow.

Some of the pillow stuffing materials that you will find in the market are polyester, down and feather blends, shredded foam, memory foam, Styrofoam beads and cotton. Polyester stuffing is inexpensive and yet they are durable and offer good support. Memory foam provides the best support by adjusting to the user’s head and neck. Cotton is chosen for being a natural fiber but it has to be mixed with wool batting to remain soft and in shape.

Pillowmania

After a long day the first thing that goes into someone’s mind is to lie down and do whatever that pleases him. Personally I’d love to crash on the couch with my head on the pillow. The pillow is not an immortal angel which rescues you from your devilish boss. Pillows wear out and their lifespan does not last forever. In this case pillow form and batting are available on the market to meet your relaxation needs. Pillow stuff is affordable easy to work on and rewarding.

Just open the form and insert the filling, it’s that easy. Even my five year old kid can set up a new pillow. There are different sorts of batting to choose from too. There are hypoallergenic ones and cotton based ones. Don’t let the wear and tear of time get in the way of your well deserved rest and relaxation. With pillows everyday can be a vacation.

Some pillows are not just for making us comfortable while sleeping. There are pillows that alleviate the discomfort of people suffering from difficulty in breathing or swelling in some parts of the body. A wedge pillow provides comfort by elevating the head for better breathing or the feet for relief of swelling. Women worried about developing wrinkles use the wedge pillow to avoid putting pressure on their faces while sleeping. It can be a great addition in the bedroom for anybody who just wants comfort while reading or watching TV.

Wedge pillows are designed with an incline to provide elevation for certain parts of the body that needs attention. For this reason, they are also called elevation wedges. Wedge pillows are usually made of memory foam that adjusts to the shape of the body part. They come in different sizes. With this kind of pillow, you can sleep through the night without having to worry about slipping off your pillow.

Investigating Solutions to Snoring

If you’ve ever had to deal with the persistently loud humming and booming of a sleeping partner who snores, then you’re familiar with the concept of restless nights. I love my husband, but he is one of the loudest snorers I’ve ever encountered; even worse than what I remember of my father growing up, and that’s pretty hard to beat.

So before I sat down with Tom, my husband, I went on line to do a bit of research on the causes of snoring. I wanted to have my facts straight so he didn’t feel attacked. I found out that snoring can be caused my many different things including sleeping on your back, a thick neck and sinus irritation.
