Other Uses Bed Sheets
We know bed sheets to be the cozy covering for our beds. We look forward to a freshly laundered bed sheet and pillow cases for a good night’s sleep. But bed sheets are not just there for us to sleep on. There are many other uses of this yards and yards of fabric material. Think about what you can do with discarded sheets when you get the urge to buy new queen sheet sets.
Here are some of the things you can do with discarded bed sheets:
- Use them for a blanket at the beach or picnic
- Use them on your furniture or your floors as drop cloths when you paint
- Make them into table cloths or linen napkins
- Make kitchen curtains
- Use sheets for quilt backing
- Let your kids use them for tents and forts
- Use them as dust covers for your stored furniture
Sleeping Comfort All Year Round
The right comforter can keep you cool in the summer but warm in the winter. A good quality down comforter is a natural insulator. Don’t judge one by its weight because quality is more important than quantity. The price of a comforter is determined by what kind of down is used, not by how heavy or light it is.
Prolong the life of your down comforters by using it with a duvet cover. The cover will help protect the down from dirt and impurities. A duvet cover will also allow you to easily change the style and colors in your bedroom any time you wish. When buying a comforter, check the warranty as it can range from a year to a lifetime.
