Own Identities
My wife and I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters who amaze us every day. Since they are only a year apart, they act more like twins than just regular sisters. They do almost everything together and end up liking almost the same kind of things.
From time to time, my wife worries about them having separate identities and always asks me if we can move in a bigger house where the kids can have separate rooms. Though that it would be ideal that they each have their own room to call their own but we are unable to provide them with this right now. So, my wife opted to decorate the room that the kids share as if it were two different rooms cutting it in half. I purchased twin bed dust ruffle in two different colors as per the kids’ preference. We love the fact that the sisters rarely argue and are very close but ensuring that they each have their own identities is important.
All Night
Why do geese never get cold? It’s because they have their own comforters! It’s silly isn’t it but it’s true. Geese are equipped with down, thick fluff that grows on their undersides. This keeps them warm and protected, even in the coldest water.
Now, imagine that you have this luxury for yourself in the form of comforters down goose. Goose down is incredibly insulating, while still lightweight and breathable. That is why bedding made from goose down is such a popular choice. There are a variety of comforters made of goose down that will definitely suit anyone’s preference. There are even one for allergies. Go ahead and look around. Find the one for you and your family and feel warm all night!
Grandmama
My wife asked me once what my best memory was when I was a child. I thought about it carefully and realized that the best memory I have of my grandmother is whenever she would tuck me in at night. My parents worked long hours and would often come home late. This was our routine.
After I finish my homework after coming home from school, my grandmama and I would prepare our dinner for the night. Usually, we would just end up heating some leftovers. We’d always have the best conversations during dinner. While she washes the dishes, she would tell me to freshen up and get ready for bed. She would then come up to my room, get under the Egyptian cotton bed sheets with me and start telling me about the ‘early years’. It was my favorite routine until I was about 12 years old. By then, I felt too old for her stories and she eventually passed on. I remember all of grandmama’s stories and cherish it.
